Give our lounge a modern rujuvenation
“Please bring our home into the 21st Century” was the plea from Yorkshire couple Helen and Chris. They wanted a fully co-ordinated lounge in which to relax and entertain, with plenty of storage space that could incorporate Chris’ treasured audio/video technology.

Spacious fitted storage

As well as the media unit, Helen and Chris needed a dedicated space to store all their books, DVDs and other items. To give the lounge a focal point, we designed shelving units in an Oak finish to surround the media area. This helped to tie the entire room’s layout together while also providing additional, stylish storage.
Streamlined cabinet space
Wall-to-wall storage
Strachan also installed multiple double cabinets across the entire wall length. Finished in a beautifully subtle shade that complemented their carpet, these cabinets worked to make the fitted furniture appear more streamlined while also giving Chris and Helen an abundance of storage.

A complete collection
With such a bold storage unit, Strachan thought it would be a great idea to balance out the room with a matching coffee table. Our master craftsmen created a bespoke coffee table in the same Oak finish. The deep drawers allow Chris and Helen to keep their magazines neat and tidy.
