Glamorous Bespoke fitted bedroom wardrobes
Our customer required a selection of storage solutions to complement their bedroom’s glamorous interior design style. The room featured sloping ceilings so bespoke furniture was the only way to utilise the awkward space and deliver a personalised look with all the convenient internal configuration they required.
Making the most of the space
Bespoke angled wardrobe doors
Our expert craftsmen created made to measure wardrobe doors, which fitted against the sloping ceiling. This allowed the customer to optimise every inch of their bedroom’s space, without compromising on its stunning appearance.
Contrasting colours
Aura and Pearl finish
The client’s bedroom had a very elegant and contemporary style. In order to tie the fitted furniture in with the rest of the décor and decoration, it was finished in our striking Aura wood grain finish. This was then surrounded with a contrasting Pearl wood grain finish carcase to create a monochromatic colour scheme.
Fitted around the room’s features
Hidden support beam
The support beam for the bedroom was positioned where the wardrobes were due to be fitted. In order to accommodate this, the wardrobe was fitted around it to discreetly hide it from view and preserve the furniture’s aesthetic. This was then masked internally with a surround in the matching Aura wood grain finish.
Internal storage systems
Pull out trouser rail
In addition to hanging rails, the wardrobes were also configured to include a trouser rail. This provides the ideal space to store trousers in order to keep them in pristine condition. It is also set on runners to allow it to slide out with ease, delivering easy access to the client’s entire clothing collection.
Clever configurations
Integrated walkway
The two protruding wardrobes were set apart from each other to create a walkway. This leads right into the eaves where low level storage solutions were fitted, utilising a space that would otherwise not be functional.
Extra touches
LED down lighting
The frame between the two wardrobes was fitted with integrated LED down lighting. This not only added an extra touch of glamour to the fitted furniture, but it also illuminated the walkway between the bedroom and the additional storage area.

Additional storage space
In order to fully make use of the floor space under the eaves, Strachan created an additional storage area behind the wardrobes. This space featured a mixture of different low level storage units in the matching Aura and Pearl finishes, including symmetrical bookcases and drawers.

The drawer unit was crafted from the Capri range with our Pearl finish carcase and Aura fascia’s to co-ordinate beautifully with the bespoke wardrobes. The drawers have a soft close feature as standard and their fronts were personalised with sleek brushed chrome handles.
